Hi,
Am possibly having a family holiday in East Prawle later in the year, so could anyone tell me if there is any public transport to the area. Is Ivybridge the nearest Train station?
Many thanks,
Gi

Ivybridge and Totnes are the nearest mainline stations. There is a steam line to Kingswear [opposite bank of Dart to Dartmouth]. There is a bus service running between Kingsbridge and Torcross [extending i think to Plymouth], and I would have thought one to Salcombe, but I don't know if any get closer to Prawle. Have you tried the local tourism websites? They may be able to help / have timetables and routes? We do have at least one member who lives down that way, and hopefully they'll be able to help you more.

Hi,
Thanks for your help. I did search online and all I could find was one bus a week from Kingsbridge on a Wednesday.
Cheers,
Gi
