The EO blog

[quote]As members of the American Birding Association can attest to, membership really does have its privileges, and now Eagle Optics is very privileged to serve as the official optics outfitter for this distinguished organization. By linking to Eagle Optics from the ABA, a portion of your purchase is automatically credited to the ABA. When you call our expert staff, be sure to have your ABA member number available and we will credit the ABA for your order[/quote[

The link is

Make a note of it!

It's also on the web site here

http://www.eagleoptics.com/articles/birding/aba-official-optics-outfitter

though they rather hide how to make sure the ABA gets a share (the link is near the bottom).

Hmm, I am not part of the ABA unless membership in the local Audubon Society chapter counts. It definitely is a nice contribution on EO's part though.

So long as you use the right URL to start shopping!

You should join the ABA ... certainly an enthusiastic birders organization (so rather more focused that the local Audubon).

Something to think about surely. The only problem is that I belong to so many birding/conservation organizations. The local ones I feel I can contribute to more.
