what is it?

hey everyone the only real reason im on here is because my friend and i found a bird with a broken wing so we took it home and are taking care of it...i wanted to know what type of bird it is...it has a redish orange stripe on the back of its neck and its brownish..it has some yellow and black on the tail feathers.
if it helps i live in nova scotia canada.
