Hi all,
My name is Harry Hussey.I'm 27,and a mad keen birder!I also take an interest in other areas of nature, especially butterflies(have seen all but 1 of the Irish resident sp.)and dragonflies.
Most of my day-to-day birding is done in Co.Cork(live in Cork city),but I do twitch around the country as well.
The rarest bird on my Irish list(279) is Blue-winged Warbler,and my best find was Ireland's 2nd Red-necked Stint on 31st July this year(had seen the first beforehand).Have also found or co-found 5 Alpine Swifts,1 Hawfinch(rare here),1 RB Fly,1 Common Rosefinch,1 Buff-B etc.
Also involved with conservation(founder member of County Nature Trust and current vice-secretary),and have co-authored an article for Birding World.

It may be three years old Helen, but isn't it good to see how much Ian's spelling has improved? ;)
