Hi all,
There is a huge passage of migrants this morning out here in the Central North Sea with many thousands of birds flying round the unit, mainly Starlings, and Blackbirds though I can hear Fieldfares calling.I will see what lands on deck for a rest later.

Noticed quite a lot of Thrushes on the move here in the last few days...

Fieldfares were certainly massing at Langdon Beck last weekend. Hundreds of them with a sprinkling of Redwing all feeding in the grassy fields.

When the vis. improved at around 0900 most of the birds departed and by 1700 there was only a pair of Chaffinches and a Starling left.
The forcast is looking good for another passage tonight. Will see whats about when I get up at around 0500.
