Herts, Birds & Bikes

Hi there,
Can anyone recommend any under-watched areas, hidden patches & birds therein around the Hemel Hempstead area within cycling distance please? I regularly cycle to Wilstone Res. but my real interest is finding good birds in these under-watched areas or small patches. Here's some examples or birds unusual for the particular area or scarce/rare in general which may be of interest to others living near here...
Piccotts End Pools
Osprey
Egyptian Geese
Spotted Fly
Peregrine
Hobby
Wheatear
Bullfinch
Sand Martin
Sedge Warbler
Little Egret
Little Owl
Green Sandpiper
Snipe...etc
Water End / Great Gaddesden
Grasshopper Warbler
White Wagtails
Yellow Wagtail
Bullfinch
Gadwall
Shoveller
Whinchat
Wheatear
Marsh Tit...etc
Gadebridge Park
Spotted Flycatcher (BREEDING - atleast 1 family party)
Cuckoo
Yellow-Legged Gull
Whitethroat
Garden Warbler
Willow Warbler
Chiffchaff
Firecrest
Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker
Siskin
Redpoll
Brambling
Bullfinch
Snipe
Oystercatcher
Grey Wagtail
(poss.) Yellow Wagtail
Skylark
Goshawk
Osprey
Red Kite
Hobby...etc
Warners End Wood
Stonechats
Whinchat
Short-Eared Owl
Siskin
Red-Legged Partridge...etc
Boxmoor / Apsley
Water Rail
Ring-Necked Parakeet
Reed Bunting (poss. BREEDING)
Reed Warbler
Brambling
(poss.) Osprey...etc
Jarman Park
Meadow Pipits
Ashridge
Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker
Firecrest
Marsh Tit...the list could go on & on...
I will venture further but these are just the sort of things i find very close to or in town, I think it's great that such birds can still thrive despite all the development, though it goes without saying that this is having negative effects, & these records only strengthen our arguments for better conservation. I'm sure you get the pic by now, thankyou, Dan.
