Hi all,

I was at the Malvern Hills in Worcester yesterday and was just wondering if anyone knew what little brown birds I may have seen up there. I couldn't get close enough to get a good view before they scarpered, even with binos (and it was extremely windy!) But they looked about Sparrow size and could possibly have been nesting in the side of the hills. They seemed to enjoy it more in the open spaces rather than the trees.

EDIT: Some people have suggested Meadow Pipits, if there's any others you think it could be the help would be appreciated :-)

Thanks!

Try dunnock as well or even stonechat if it was so windy that you weren't really picking up colours.

I think they're just going to be left unidentified until I get a chance to go there again :-)

Thanks for all the help!
