What are some good replacement covers for the factory zen ed2 10x42? I have already managed to loose one.

I replaced mine with Quake Bushwhacker #6 flip ups. I got mine from Eagle Optics. I got an e-mail from ZR that said they were going to send everyone replacement covers.

Hmmm, I found the fit of the new ED2 objective covers to be rather better than the ED1 they go on with a nice grip.

I've used Bushnell Elite 8x43 covers (which are a bit smaller) on other Chinese EDs that had "really" loose objective covers (though I've not tried them on the Zen).

They're available from Bushnell spare parts. Search in the Bushnell subforum for ordering details. They're inexpensive too ($5 or something).

You'll need the 6 digit Bushnell product code ... the current 63-0843 should work.

I would be interested in this too. One quick question: do they leave marks on the rubber body after you remove them?

No they don't. But you might need to trim them a bit for a good fit around the binocular hinge,
