Hi,

Has anyone got any further info on this bird please?

I saw it for about 5 seconds at 12:55ish before the waders spooked, and could not relocate it. It was found by a good birder who only saw it at long range and who I suspect is not too familiar with the species. What I saw looked "interesting" - including yellowish-green legs, and strongly marked. It is a long time since I saw one and, remembering the Lothian debacle, I wouldn't stick my neck out.
There are plenty of people looking but the tide is now "too high". A worry is the number of flooded fields around if it gets pushed off the estuary.

So in summary, could well be but await developments!

Hope this helps

Rob

No sign on the falling tide. Will look again tomorrow.
7 curlew sands, but it's not quite the same ...
