Hi,
A couple of weeks ago, Sam posted an amazing shot from a weather satellite. It showed the migration of Warblers from Cuba to Florida and beyond. It struck me odd, that the birds fly over all that water each year. In other areas they have to fly even longer. The risk of doing this is self evident. So, my question is: Do you think the birds started migrating before the continents divided, and just kept taking the same route, even after this huge span of water separated their breeding grounds? :h?:
