Today 3rd Jan I saw on the way to Cheltenham. I saw 2 Grey Herons near trout farm.
On stream next to carpark near town center saw a Kingfisher flying away from me going upstream. Lots of water in larger passing stream. Kingfisher was in the smaller side stream which was quieter.
Coming back from Cheltenham saw 3 Deer in middle of a feild back from a noisy main road. At first thought they were foxes but looked again to see that they were deer.
