Pete Wheeler found this Bony's at IMF last night at 7.15pm. It stayed until 9.20pm at least but could not be seen after that in fading light. There was no sign of it this morning, but many of the gulls (other than the breeders) had left the reserve. It may well return to roost this evening.....
Cheers

Good time for Bonaparte's at the moment it seems, there was also one on Handa Island, Sutherland yesterday lunchtime......ever get the feeling you wish you hadn't declined the invitation to go along for the ride using work as an excuse.........

Hi all,
It once took me about 45 minutes to pick out a Med Gull in about 200 B H Gulls,so I would have no chance in finding this one.
PS Once I had found the Med Gull it hit me like a hammer every time I saw it after that.
Regards Tony

I was fortunate to get relatively close to one towards the end of April last year at Fairburn Ings. Below are some of the photos I managed to get.
I'm off to Norfolk this weekend but I must admit that if the Boney's is refound tonight I might change my itinerary.
