Minolta 8x42D WP

Anyone having experiences with those? Minolta has suberb camera optics, but what about binoculars? At least they are compact and comfortable to handle...

I have a pair of the 10x42D WP and they are excellent.

My son uses 10x waterproof Minolta roof prisms - they are very fine binocualrs: not quite so bright nor quite so wide as my Swaros but extraordinarily good value.
