Well it will soon be time for the peregrine to come back and start nesting at or local reserve. Things are starting to move on we are clearing the wood so the caravan can be put in and it wont be long before everything else is in place.

Peregrine watch is the highlight of my year it is great to know that you played a part in something so worth while as help protect these wonderful birds form the moment they are eggs to when they fly off the nest it is great.
just thought i would share that with you all .

That's lovely Wullie, I also do stuff on a local reserve, it is very satisfying and strangely restful!! Good luck with your peregrines!

That's a nice scenario you paint, Wullie. Forgive my ignorance, but where is Carstairs junction?

The RSPB will be gearing up soon to do the same here in Gloucestershire at Symonds Yat on the River Wye cliffs.

There are regular Peregrine visitors to the area around the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge on the River Severn just a few miles away from the Wye. When they hunt in pairs, they never seem to miss. They are fantastic birds.

In fact I can guarantee a Peregrine sighting for anyone who comes on the Slimbash in Feb.
