Took a brief walk out yesterday evening, with the weather surprisingly clement in view of the recent rain. Even saw the sky!

With a couple of exceptions, it was rather quiet, so although we managed 20 species, plus some large gulls, there weren't too many individuals evident.

The exceptions perhaps were the Green Woodpeckers, which were very noisy, and the three individuals we actaully saw may not have been the only ones calling.

Also the woodpigeons. There's a lot of them about everywhere just lately, I have noticed. They don't seem to be flocking particularly, but they are more obvious than the have been.

The numbers...

Hi Birdman, nothing Better Than A Nice Evening Walk, after The Rain, everything Seems To Be Refreshed, and Even If You See Nothing Out Of The Ordinary,it Still Makes It Worthwhile.
