Hello all! My first post so here goes.
This may be a long shot but does anyone know anything about the T S 10*42 binoculars advertised on e-Bay by a German supplier named Teleskope Service? They sound okay; "TS 10*42 DNF waterproof roof prism binoculars". They are described as waterproof - nitrogen filled - rubber armoured, phase coated prisms and coated lenses, and as having high quality rather then a high sounding name! They are on at something like £74. Are they a bargain are not worth considering? I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
RGW.

Hi RGW,
On behalf of Admin and the Moderators welcome to Bird Forum :t:
I can't help with that brand either, but hopefully someone may know them.
See you around.

I guess you are referring to this external focussing model :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10955&item=6109871053
For a few pounds more, they also sell this model :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10955&item=6109876795
which does have a review at
http://de.geocities.com/holger_merlitz/dialyt10x40.html
From what I recall : Chinese, mechanically sound, coatings a bit down cf the best, a bit heavy at ca 1kg, reviewer impressed.

Hi
Those binoculars are OK. They feel solid and the quality of the workmanship is excellent. The view is very crisp, bright and contrasty. These binos beat more expensive units. Your given price is ok
