I am currently trying to put together a webpage comparing county lists. If anyone has up to date info on their county it would be much appreciated. A list would be best, but if that isn't available a current total would be useful.
Thanks

Welcome to the Forum! Nice to have someone from Essex - I'd love to meet up and see your local sites one day.
Look forward to seeing your posts...............

Peter, dear friend! You are beginning to sound desperate! Is anyone within a fifty mile radius of London safe from you??

Hi Alf
Welcome to Birdforum.
The Birdwatchers' Yearbook has a list of county lists that you might find useful.

Hi Alf.
You can find the Cornish list at www.cbwps.org.uk
There are a few addittions. Red And Black Grouse used to live on Bodmin moor in Historical times. Also Hooded Crow, now that it's been split from Carrion Crow

Hi Alf,
At last another birder from Essex. Whereabouts are you from? I live in Maldon. Do you ever go on the Essex Birdwatching Society trips? I can strongly recommend them.
You can get the Essex bird list from http://www.essexbirdwatchsoc.co.uk/
although just at the moment the site seems to be down.

Hi Alf,
The Berkshire list is on my website, http://www.berksbirds.co.uk. Click on "Listing" then "Berkshire List". Currently stands at 309, not bad for an inland county. Even includes Sora as first for Britain!
Cheers,
