Windermere on Sunday

I have a limited time on Sunday to try and catch up with any wildlife of interest in the Lake Windermere area. I'm thinking butterflies and dragons mainly I suppose. Any local gen would be great. TonyS

Windermere will be very ,very busy on Sunday ,Tony,due to the fact it is a BH weekend.I should think local parks and gardens may be the best bet for butterflies.Have not heard of any dragons in the area,but the surrounding scenery is magnificent and there should be plenty of birdlife around the lake,well away from the boats etc.

Thanks for the info. My first trip to the Lakes but maybe not the best choice of dates!
