Okay so I tried getting on with the Bogen/Manfrotto 3001BD tripod legs, but they just don't seem steady enough for my angled zeiss 65mm scope.

Just wondering what you would recommend upgrading to.

Right now I have to lift the neck to almost its maximum extent.

It would be nice if I could just exchange the ones I have for a different pair from eagleoptics.com, but if there is a huge price difference or a place that has a model that you really think highly of and eagle does not carry em I would be interested in that too.

Also I am 6'5"

Thanks for any replies.

I am also 6'5" and I use a Bogen/Manfrotto 3021BN tripod. Its relativly heavy at 5lbs. but it extends to 70.1" and is pretty stable at that height.
