I used a Canon D60 and a Sigma 50-500mm lens hand held at 200ASA 1/500 f5.6 full frame, I have anothe 30 shots of it full frame and just as sharp!!

Excellent shots Jamie. I haven't even seen one of these birds yet this year. If I do I hope it is as obliging as yours as I haven't even got a picture of one that I have taken.
