Swaro Digiscoping package

Being somewhat overwhelmed by the various equipment permeatations in the linking up of a digital camera and a spotting scope, I goggled a "digiscoping package" at www.binoculars.com. which includes a Swaro ATS-65 which I gather is a great little scope but the camera end of this package is the Canon powershot A-75. I can find precious little info on this camera being used for digiscoping. I assume it will work as somebody chose it for this package( I hope not an accountant. |=)| Has anybody ever used this type of camera for digiscoping?

Actually, the Canon 'A' series isn't too bad for digiscoping. Recommending a digiscoping package is problematic for retail outlets these days as the favoured cameras have been out of production for a long time... so someone has suggested a reasonable camera in this case.... still, the Contax sl300rt is possibly the best digiscoping camera in current production but isn't quite so widespread in availability.

Some of those who make digiscoping adapters are the worst culprits for fooling the public into believing their camera will work for digiscoping... stating all the models that their adapter will fit, but not telling them these cameras are useless for digiscoping.
