Early-ish on sunday morning i managed to escape for a short while from the seemingly endless chaos caused by my recent housemoving ... something i intend never to partake in again ... and had a look at my new local patch. I haven't moved far so know the area reasonably well but i did find at least one footpath i didn't previously know of so it bodes well for future exploration and no doubt there are other bits i don't know yet, as well.

List, from memory, as i never took any notes at the time

On the broad;
Coots c50
Pochard c35
Mallard
Mute swans

Around and about;
Sparrowhawk
Kestrel
Lapwing
Blackbird
Crows
Rooks
House Sparrows
Blue Tit
Greenfinch
Cormorants, 2
Black-headed Gulls
Pheasants
Partridges, not sure which sp. though
Swallows, only a few
House Martins

A fair start. As it'd taken ages to go through i was quite happy so i took some pictures as well.

Living anywhere in Norfolk makes me envious! Nice shots, too.
