Hi everybody!

Well, i have decided to get the Fieldscope 82 ED. Nikon seems to give me the best value for my money. But now - where should i buy it!? Here in Sweden prices are far to high, so i´m looking for solid on-line shops in other EU countries. Anyone know about an honest dealer with nice prices?

Hi Thomas you could try Warehouse express at the top of the page. I do not know if they ship abroad but would be worth checking. there prices are reasonable and I speak from experience they provide a fast efficient service.

I usually phone or email to check that they have what I require in stock.

Best of luck.

Warehouse Express also do a bundle deal with the 82, a CP4500 and attachments, which makes it even better value if you want to do digiscoping too. If you just want a scope then the old ED78 offers they have are famously good value.

Have a look at http://www.acecameras.co.uk/asp/web/ph/cat/prodtype/1298/prodtype.asp

I do not know whether they will post abroad or not, but they are a good company which has been long established. If you e-mail them and ask the worst they can say is no.

have used both Ace cameras at Bath and Warehouse Express in Norwich. Both in the U K of course. Quick efficient deliveries from both and usually good value too. Hope they deliver to Sweden.

I asked Warehouse Express a while ago...
"Thank you for your interest in our company, however we are unfortunately unable to export scopes."

Yep I seem to remember you tried them. Which is why I mentioned in-focus.

If I remember correctly, Ace also does not ship abroad. I was going to suggest ffordes, but I just noticed that they only carry Leica (and one Minox) scopes. They do ship abroad, however, and I felt there was a personal commitment when I got my tripod sent from them to Switzerland. Just in case, here is their address to check what they have.

I just ordered a Fieldscope 82 ED for € 1250 (11 365.33 SKrone) including zoom & stay on case at http://www.kamera-express.nl ( the site is in dutch) so better phone them 031 10 2847450. They do ship within europe.
They don't only sell at the web, but also have a shop, which I visited, with
a lot of goods in store ( cameras and relating stuff).
Due to the fact that the nikon scopes are not well known over here,
the order takes some weeks. They also have a leica apo-televid 77 + 45 gr. + 20-60x oculair + stay-on-case for € 1449,00
