I would be interested in trying digiscoping but could only really justify buying a camera if it was an all purpose "family" camera, ie fairly compact and not too expensive. My scope is a Kowa TSN-3 with a 30x lens. Any suggestions?

If you don't mind refurbished models, you can pick up Nikon Coolpix 4300 for around £150, and about £10 for an adaptor to give it a 28mm thread. Alternatively the new Contax isn't too dear.

i have a coolpix 4300 ( 6 months old ) for sale £125 and will throw in the adapt -t camera adaptor part ( b ) so all you will need is the scope adaptor part part ( a )
