New Nikon CoolPix?

Has anyone heard anything about a new Nikon CoolPix digital camera coming out on the market February 18, 2003?

I had a promotional E-Mail yesterday that alluded to that .. but when I went to the Nikon website I could find no further info.

Nikon are fooling around too much. There is a veiled reference to it on thier website but they haven't released details of the camera yet.

Nikon wanted to drip info about it every few days but people experimented by trying slightly different url's and found all the forthcoming info on it.
Only 3mp with a 3X optical zoom, but seems to be similar in lens system to the cp9** series....maybe o.k. for digiscoping. The shape and physical design looks very odd, very compact but rather deep. It's supposed to be very rapid in everything it does and aimed at candid/journalistic photography.
Just have to wait :t:
