Hola:
Anyone breeding dendrobatids at home? I am a dendrobates (poison-arrow frogs) fan and I will like to share my experience.

I was under the impression that some poison arrow frogs are dangerous to touch. If this is the case, how do you manage to keep them? Or do you keep less venomous varieties? Any chance of seeing some photos?

i'll get some photos soon...
your right about poison dart frogs, all with the possible exeption of most colesthus are deadly poisonous, but that is only in the wild, in capitvity they loose thier poisons because they do not feed on the same insects as they would do in the wild. you can get most species in captivity, but a lot are not found in captivity because they are in their highest densities in columbia, the kind i've got is a very common species, if you've ever been to a zoo you'll have seen them they are the bumbleebee PDFs the yellow and black ones
