Dear Forumers,

I append a mail from Charlie and Nial Moores, both active Proact
members, who are launching a new bird protection organisation in
Korea.

Lets ALL join!

<....>

Nial and I have been flat out the last two months re-launching the
WBKEnglish network into a fully-fledged organisation called Birds
Korea. We are offering FREE international membership (the more
international members we have the more it legitimises our work in
South Korea of course - please go to

Birds Korea Membership (http://www.birdskorea.org/birdskoreamembership.asp)

We are developing a Korean-language website with the help of Korean
members and colleagues, and will continue to campaign both
domestically and internationally for the protection of Korea's birds
and habitats. We are aiming to apply for NGO status within Korea as
soon as possible.

All the best,

Charlie

Well said Tim. It will help them to establish their NGO and with their conservation efforts. Public international pressure is important in Asia - has to do with loss of face.
