Hi

Just going to start digiscoping. Had plenty of experience using an SLR for bird photography but need advice about digital cameras.

I already possess a new Swarv Scope (no camera adapter yet). I'm after a camera suitable for digiscoping, compact if possible and not a top end of the range model. Any ideas? Coolpix seems the way to go. Which mid-priced model would be suitable? I also assume the camera I get needs to have a 28mm filter thread suitable for the Swarvo cam. adapter is this true?

Any feedback or recommendations much appreciated, thanks.
TIA
Chris

Chris.
microglobe (a venture of L.C.E) has excellent offer on CP4500, £259. This is an excellent camera to use as I'm sure you will read. There is also the Contax and Kycera but I can't comment. I've had my 4500 since Jan05 and have had great fun playing. got some pretty good results down at Portsmouth Harbour today. Happy hunting
