i had one of the best days for sometime sunday with my first peregrine falcon in the one place i would not think of looking under the orwell bridge and then i went down the to see a grey wagtail and a golden plover and then on my way back under the bridge again i saw a grey plover on the mud of the river and the peregrine was stell there to great day

Yep, a good day you had there. Only seen peregrine once, and that was down in Devon on a BF bash! Gray wagtails are smashing birds aren't they! :t:

Saw my first grey wagtail on Saturday - it was with a pied wagtail. They seemed very happy together. They were on the shore of a reservoir - all alone. Is it usual for a grey and a pied to "hang-out" together?

yes i often see pied and grey wagtails feeding together
