£1500! Ouch!! :eek!:

Birdwatch magazine had it on their stand at the Lee Valley bird fair. Unfortunately it wasn't being demonstrated. Looking at the specs it seems rather expensive. You could get a larger, top quality scope, a full digital camera and an adapter for less.

How true David

I have just purchased Kowa TSN823 x32 new W/A lens and case = £787.99
Canon Power Shot A95 = £219.00
From Warehouse Express

Kowa TSN - DA1 Digi adapter and Ring from Ace Cameras = £104.00

EagleEye shutter release £29.00 I think?

And I am very pleased with the lot - I just need a bit of practice with the focus.

Thanks to everybody at BirdForum for all the advice

I had a play with one of these at Tichwell. I used my own SD card in it and took a whole series of pics with it. There is not enough control over the camera and all the images I took in good light seemed to have 'washed out' colours. It's a nice first attempt by Kowa (I have a TSN 823, great scope) but it does not produce the goods and is way too costly.
