I have arranged to go to London for a short trip between 27 April and 1 May. the main purpose is to see two gigs, one at Lock 17 in Camden and one at the Alexandra Palace in Wood Green. I may get the chance to do some birding and would like to catch up with some of the species we don't get up here, especially Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. I have still to arrange accomodation so any tips on that and places to bird would be great.

DavidI doubt anyone could take you to see a lesser spot; I know where they are but to see one... I wish. Once every two or three years, maybe, if I'm v-e-r-y lucky.
