Norfolk Broads - Long Weekend?

Myself and the wife are heading to Wells-Next-The-Sea in June for a week in a cottage but we're now toying with extending our visit to Norfolk for a few days once this week is over.

it'll coincide with a check out of the cottage on a Saturday and we fancy hiring a boat on the broads for a couple of nights.

Can anyone advise which particular area would be best to combine relaxation and birding?

Also - any suggestions of boat firms that aren't too expensive ?

Start by typing ‘broads’ boats’ into your computer. The search should give you loads of boat hire companies to choose from. That way you can find details of short breaks etc.

Two of the main companies are Hoseasons and Blakes

Potter Heigham is a good place to start a boat/birding holiday as is Wroxham.
