hello everyone just come back from shopping and been told by a neighbour theres been some birders round our area looking for waxwings just wondered if it was any of you lot

Not me, although I did give Birdman some tips the other day as to where to find some, as he has never seen them before.

Have you seen them?

There are apparently some near me in the Rotherham area as well.

yes diane i have seen them theyve been coming for the last three years mostly in twos and threes but this time arrived in a flock of about 25 which i didnt see myself,but i do know their back.i have a couple of large willows at the end of my garden and they sit in there so im very lucky really.i admit i didnt know what they were,ive said before they look like deformed starlings from far away,but a neighbour put me right,the same neighbour whose son saw the flock arrive this time from his allotment.i havent seen them close up they have never come close to the house and ive only seen them in twos and threes
