Samsung Digimax V50

Searching through some specs of different digital cameras suitable for digiscoping, I came across this one, Samsung Digimax V50.
From spec point of view camera seems to be perfect:

1. Large and twistable LCD
2. Perfect zoom range
3. SD/MMC cards
4. Manual handling

Though, in action, the camera seems to be totally useless, slow and showing wrong colors...

Anyone with any actual experience with it ?

I played with it some time ago. A friend got it at a bargain and showed it to me for my opinion. It is a very disappointing camera IMHO. Although it has a Schneider lens, the images have a lot of CA, purple color fringes at the edges, lack of sharpness and terrible noise, even at low ISO. It does have a very nice and large LCD, but that's it. I'd say - stay away.
