Travelling around yesterday I noticed all the Red Bud trees in bloom. We have the daffs up too now with the tulips and lillies poking their leaves out of the soil. Won't be long before the Hummingbirds return.

Great picture! I think it's time I considered moving... I won't even see the ground here for at least another 2 months yet! :(

Hey Tammie, I have a great idea, let's go visit NCLady or if that is too far, how about Gaye in BC??? We'll just stay long enough for the snow to melt at home. March is always such a bother here cause our 1.5 km laneway gets mucked up if we have alot of traffic. I just checked the weather and the overnight temps for the next two days are -35C. We have company staying in our cabin for the weekend and we get to move into the bunkhouse which is ok but a little cool. And the overnight ski racers are gonna freeze! I have alot of birds at the feeders today as it is snowing and blowing.

Oh, the red bud! I do love them so -- Brown County State Park in southern Indiana, when they are in bloom, is just gorgeous!!
I so regret that my neighbors cut down the one on the property line, that leaned over into my yard. The trunk kept splitting, and it was soon to die, but it was always so lovely in bloom. I miss it.
Thanks for lovely reminder that spring WILl come eventually!
