In most of the eastern U.S. there is a small treefrog that doesn't climb and sounds more like an insect than an amphibian. Yes, if everyone appreciated frogs, the frogs--and the people--would probably be a lot better off. :-)

Yeah, same with snakes, and any other creepy crawlies. I am not fond of spiders, but tolerate them. Been bitten 5 times... not nice!!
