Canon 350D

Hello!

Has anyone used the new canon 350D for digiscoping? Is it any good?

Haven't handled one but there's no reason why it shouldn't be any different to any other Canon DSLR for digiscoping - that is providing you've got a suitable lens

Incidentally, Nikon will soon be announcing two new DSLRs, both at the 'amateur' end of the range, so anyone thinking of buying in this sector of the market may wish to hang back for a week or two to see what's what.

I got my hands on one for the first time today. Nice and light weight so would work well as the lens' are standard size and more people are now using DSLRs for digiscoping. The weight advantage would be good for balance etc. and for hand holding, but for me it is just too small. I don't have really big hands but in contrast to a 300D or 20D it is small!
