Hi,ive just bid successfully for a pair of Carl -Ziess 10x50 Jena -jenoptem binoculars on E-Bay they are like having a sack of potatoes round your neck although the .quality of the bins is A-1.I am looking to buy new a pair of LIECA TRINIVOIDS 10X42.Any advice on the best price I. will get these bins for . THE UK--USA--EUROPE,AND HAS ANYONE BOUGHT A PAIR RECENTLY.Ive also heard problems with buyin(snides) or the grey market, and this makes me reluctant to buy them of ebay.Any comments would help,Thank you. i think i paid £699 for my trinovid 10x42bn's at jessops last year. i donk think you will get them brand new for less than £600. they are still popular despite the lighter and brighter ultravids (witch i paid about £250 more for!).

only buy from main dealers with a good reputation - do your home work first.

i have both the trinovid 10x42bn (exellent and bomb proof) and the ultravid 10x42br (light and bright) both are great buys that will last a liftime aslong as they are cared after.

i looked at swarovski and zeiss bins too, but to be honest there isnt much separating the big 3. all down to you at the end of the day.

I know this is a late reply, i have not been on for a while but here i am.
here is a link to a very good shop, they will beat any price you find & do a very good deal. in the past i have sent a few along to this place & they have all been very satisfied, I must add i have no connection with this place at all & have nothing to gain from recommending it. I am just a very satisfied customer who will go back for anything i need in the way of optics.
