I'd really like to know what this is!!

Hey guys, a good friend of mine took a rather random picture of these two birdies with his phone. The quality as you can see is quite poor, so I asked him what these were. My first thought was 'Pigeons' but he said they weren't....... I'm not sure at all now. He seems convinced that they are gulls, but they just don't look right! The photo was taken somewhere in Leeds I think.. Some please settle my mind, are they just feral pigeons?

I'd go with ducks of some description - certainly with some Muscovy in there based on the far bird.

Domestic ducks, both Muscovy-types, but not really countable as anything.

Ahh ducks! I never thought of that, now that you all mention it, they do look duck like. Thanks a lot, I'll look them up!
