Does anyone have binoculars which use that flat view technology. What are the pros and cons? :h?:

i do, a Nikon EII 10x35 and a Celestron 9.5x44 ED. while they are not touted as aspherical lenses bla bla bla, they have that.
the advantage is that more of the field of view is undistorted, and therefore, what you see is less affected by handshake. If a lot or most of the field of view is curved and distorted, any handshake will disturb your perception of the bird, or chick, whatever you are lokking at.
in comparisson, i non-corrected, non-flat eyepieces distort a lot of the image, mostly at the outer 1/2 of the field. i have looked through binoculars that made me seasick when scanning...
