Has anyone ever used binoculars with a built in camera? If so, do they work good? I'm considering it but I'd like some reviews first.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Never used one, but the reports to date are pretty dismal. My local Radio Shack gets alot of returns on them.

Yeah, they have not put a lot of effort into them, besides making them, as of yet. Basically a cheap bin with a cheap digital camera that commands a premium price because it is novel.

I havn't used bino's with a built in camera but I did set my CP4500 up with my Nikon 8x42 binos with some reasonable results. The main advantage being the much lighter weight to carry compared to digiscoping.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully someone will get it right someday.
