Hi,
Our Ministry of Environment is just preparing an act for the caretakers of protected areas. According to this, a caretaker can be an NGO or a person in case that the protected area didn't has it's own administration. Now the decesion of who is going to be a caretaker of certain area is deceided among others (local representatives of the ministry) by certain NGO's.
As we are preparing right now an amendment to this act, I would be really interested if this kind of regulation exists in other countries as well and who deceides who's gonna be the "caretaker".
Thanks for the answers,
Jozsef, jr.
