I found this one by the roadside at lunchtime, it was VERY big. As big as some of the redtails I've been seeing.I was just across the street from it, maybe 30 - 40 feet. You'll probably notice some vignetting, I had to zoom out to get the bird to fit the frame!

Great shot, Paul! I love how clearly you can see the rounded edges of the tail, to distinguish it from a Sharpie.

Beautiful subtle colours of his chest feathers.
