Leica 8x32 vs Swaro SLC

What is the best 8x30 ?
- Leica ultravid 8x32
- Swaro SLC 8x30
- Swaro EL 8x32
- Zeiss Victory FL 8x32

What is better : Leica ultravid 8x32 or Swaro SLC 8x30 ?
Leica IMHO. Mainly because of its superior ergonomics and light weight - I hate the placement of the focus wheel in the small SLCs. I am sure there are opposite opinions as well. ;)

got to look through both LEica 8x32 the Swaro and my Nikon HG's today.

Let me put it this way I'm not changing!! Optically the Ultravid was excellent fine image but the eye cups were a bit small and the focus was a bit stiff (not a problem on the x42). Ergonomically I preferred the Trinovid to the Ultravid.

I would have to say though that the weight is excellent. Its just that ergonomically I found them wanting.

There is no best. You have to test them by yourself to check, if you are comfortable with the different brands and which individual eyerelief you need. And don't forget to also check the Nikon HG(L). If two or three of them are good for you take the cheapest.
