Hello from Australia. This looks like a very interesting birding spot!
I have just returned from Frazer Island, off the Queensland coast, where there are many, many beautiful birds. I gave some sketching workshops there, as my particular interest is painting and drawing birds. (Actually it was looking at the threads on sketching birds that led me to this Forum).
Many birds come into my garden including Rainbow Lorikeets, who are outside in the eucalypt trees right now, having a noisy party in the welcome rain.
