I'm thinking of buying the Opticron ES80 GA
ED Angled with NEW HDF twist eye cup 20-60x zoom, and a Kyocera
Finecam SL400R Bundle Kit from SWOPTICS http://www.swoptics.co.uk/view.asp?KEY=2213
Would this be a good outfit capable of gettign good quality shots ?
Has anyone got a similar setup abd able to give an opinion on the setup ?
Thanks again,
Gareth

Hi Gareth I've never used that scope myself and I don't know what your expectations are as regards results, but I'd say it can produce some pretty good results going by some of the photos posted in the Gallery.
If considering a new piece of digiscoping equipment I always check out the Gallery to see examples of it's use. Best advice would be to search for this scope in the Gallery search field or use this link - Opticron ES80 GA (http://www.birdforum.net/pp_gallery/showgallery.php?mcats=all&what=allfields&si=Opticron+ES80+GA)

Hi Gareth
My son pruchased that bundle of kit from Infocus, and I am jealous The whole lot is well sorted out and the results are very good. There are better scopes on the market but you need a lot more dosh. All you have to do with this lot is buy some memory cards and a remote shutter release and you are away, clicking like mad!!

You may be able to save some dosh, by going for an almost new Kyocera digiscoping set up that was in the For Sale forum earlier this week....
