How do you compare the output qualities from setup #2 to setup #3?

Hello

I attached 4 samples.
Setup 1 : Red-winged Blackbird
Setup 2 : American Goldfinch & Common Merganser
Setup 3 : Mourning Dove

Also, visiting my Birdforum gallery & my personal Website photo gallery will show you more samples.

Setup 2 & 3 are perfect to photograph birds in action. Manual focus is always used.

Setup 3 (TLS-800) is harder to use because you should experiment different speed untill you get the correct light.

Thanks,Marcel, set up 3 is a good pic,so digiscoping using the SLR with the tSL 800 can produce a clear image. Many thanks.
