hi all,

Introduction please!! I am Sherub, known by a single name.

I have been trying to digitize bird songs i have recorded using TASCAM DAT recorder and I am using Sound Forge and Raven. I have some trouble in doing so. I get the ocillogram/amplitude clipped off. I tried to lower the volume input using windows sound balance, still problem exists. Is there any suggestions. OR

Did I set the record level in field too high? Help out please.

Dear Sherub,

Greg Budney here from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Just found your posting. Were you able to resolve the problem? Good to see that you are recording. How are you?

Greg
