It appears, from what I've seen in the gallery here and elsewhere on the web, that if you have a Nikon Fieldscope (say 82mm ED) that the easiest, best, most affordable way to connect a camera is by using a Coolpix brand? Is this correct? Are there any Fieldscope users out there who are using other brands of cameras, other than Coolpix?

I have a Nikon 78 ED and connect my Canon Eos 300d to it using the Nikon FSA1, FSA2 and FSA3 which simply screw directly to the canon lens filter thread. It's much easier to use than the CP4500 was.

I've seen adverts for Nikon scopes fitted with either a coolpix or the D70 dslr.

I have the Nikon Ed82 and the Cp4500. The nikon adapter works very well and is easy to connect/disconnect. I'm very happy with the setup
