One Little Egret,
One Curlew,
and one male, Blacktailed Godwit, in his full colours.
Most unusual, as I have only ever seen them in the winter.
Friday 15 07 2005.
Two Curlews,
One Little Egret. We have a resident colony of about a dozen.
Four Red Shanks,
One Rock Pippet. (Why he had come round to the estuary, is anybody's guess)
The Red Shanks are a puzzle, we don't usually see them here till much later in the year, Sept/Oct, time.
Added to yesterday's Black Tailed Godwit, all a bit strange.
